Sunday, May 24, 2009 @07:42pm CDT More than a dozen firefighters were called to Hunan on Maplewood just before ten o'clock last night to fight the blaze, which fire officials say may have started with an electrical transformer in the attic. No one was injured, but some customers found themselves in the parking lot eating the food they just paid for. Today people who usually come to Hunan every weekend to grab a bite to eat were disappointed to see the restaurant is temporarily closed. "We have been coming practically every week so we know pretty much everybody and they're a part of the family so it's so sad so sad to see the fire and the building is closed,” says Teresa Cook customer. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. |
