Jason Calder is the weekend anchor for KFDX 3 but also reports during the week. He re-joined the KFDX 3 team in October 2007. Jason first worked at KFDX from 2001-2005 as the morning producer. Jason is a life long Texan. He was born in the small town of
Coleman and spent most of his life in San Angelo.
His television career began in 1999 with sister station KSAN as an associate producer/reporter.
After two years at KSAN, Jason accepted the morning producing job at KFDX. Four years later after finishing his Mass Communication degree atMidwestern State University, he returned back to San Angelo where he served as the weekend anchor for KSAN.
Now he’s glad to be back inWichita Falls to cover the various stories that are important to Texomans.
He's a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Stars.
