Today, members of the Wichita Mountains Post Society of American Military Engineers presented Comanche County Sheriff Kenny Stradley with a donation to his "We Care" program.

The group donated more than 33-hundred dollars, and they say there's more to come.

Sheriff Stradley says, "Yesterday I pulled over and saw this lady.  She thought I was going to arrest her.  I said, 'Here ma'am, let me give you a ham and a couple cards for your kids.'  She was amazed."

Sheriff Stradley says they aim to help 100 families each holiday, but thanks to this donation, they'll be able to help many more families in need.
