A Wichita Falls man facing multiple charges in connection with a July shooting is no-billed on one of those charges by the grand jury.
The Wichita County Grand Jury declined to indict 25-year-old Demetrick Murray on a charge of possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone.
Murray has already been indicted on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, theft of a firearm, and deadly conduct.
Police say Murray fired several shots during a shooting on July 12 in Wichita Falls near East 2nd and Pine St.
One of those shots hit 24-year-old Jamon Shaw in the back, which critically injured him.
Officers say Murray left the scene and Wichita Falls.
Authorities arrested him in Houston in early September.
Murray is in the Wichita County Jail on bonds totaling $900-thousand.
