Get ready for a delicious annual tradition that's sure to satisfy your stomach.
Today volunteers finished setting up for the 54th annual Kiwanis Pancake Festival at the J.S. Bridwell Agriculture Center.
The festival is the Kiwanis Club's only fundraiser.
Members use the proceeds for various projects and organizations in the community, including the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank.
Organizers say as always. this year's pancake festival will be the place to be.
Scott Ermis, pancake chairman, says, "We always say that if you want to see your friends, come out to the pancake festival.  We're expecting, ticketed people, about 12-thousand to 12-thousand five-hundred.  That's not counting age five and under that eat for free."
Advance tickets are $6, and you can get them at United Market Street, A-1 Rentals on Jacksboro Highway, or Grand Rental Station on Kell West.
Tickets at the door are seven bucks.
And a helpful tip: organizers say if you want to avoid lines, arrive between 6 and 9 a.m. or between 3 and 6 p.m.
