Special Olympics Power Lifters Get Ready for Regionals

One Texoma team is doing their fair share of the heavy lifting.

"Wichita Falls Strength" the area 9 Power Lifting team held their final practice today before heading to their competition.

Saturday they will compete in Hurst, Texas for Regionals.

And the head coach says they are always a tough team to defeat.

"We've been complemented on our form whenever we go to competition are lifters are always cheering for each other and have perfect form and they just do a great job," Carla Nichols, Wichita Falls Strength Coach.

Nichols says "Wichita Falls Strength" has been together for 5 years and currently has 12 members.

After competing in Hurst they plan to participate in the Special Olympics Winter Games in 2014.
