Two riders are campaigning across the country to stop the "cycle" of abuse. They rolled in to Wichita Falls this afternoon.

John Frugo and Lynette Garrett are making their way to California to raise awareness on behalf of abused and neglected children. Since they began their ride three weeks ago from Illinois they have raised ten thousand dollars for their cause.

But that's not what surprised them the most about their ride across the US. One of the cyclists, Lynette Garrett said, "The people just go out of their way. We've had people guide us up a mountain when it was dark out and we needed to get up a mountain. We've had people put us up in their houses."

The riders will spend tomorrow serving meals at Faith Missions. They'll leave Friday morning and plan to make it to California the first week of December.
