There are only a few dozen tickets left to take part in the annual Operation Santa Claus Campaign.

The dinner and dance fundraiser is sponsored by Wichita Falls fire fighters and coordinators are using it, along with the raffling of a brand new ATV, to help provide Christmas presents for about 1,500 children whose parents have fallen on hard times.

"Situations happen and they just need help and we're the heroes in the community and we'd like to keep continuing to help the children and children have a very special place in the firefighters heart," says Rusty Sheppard, coordinator for Operation Santa Claus.

The event kicks off Saturday, November 24th, at 7 p.m. at the Elks Lodge at 4205 Seymour Highway.

Tickets are $100 but get them fast because less than 100 are available.

You can buy them until 4 p.m. Saturday at fire station number one on Bluff Street or station number eight on Southwest Parkway.

Then, tickets will available at the Elks Lodge.
