Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is nearly 90 years old. But each year it adds new floats, balloon characters, and this year there was a touch of Texoma.

Cheerleaders from Wichita Christian School joined hundreds of other cheerleaders from across the nation to become part of the "Spirit of America" team.

They performed in New York's famed Herald Square during the parade, and they did it before a live national television audience which could be seen right here on KFDX earlier today.

Congratulations to Abby Heyen, Abby Skipworth, Alex Stone, Allee Pipes, Ashtin Battista, Matty Mcgee, Shelby Sawyer, and Leksi Vasquez.
