The Christmas spirit will soon shine bright as it meanders its way through the streets of Iowa Park.

The Iowa Park Volunteer Fire Department will host its 10th annual Lighted Christmas Parade Saturday, December 1st at 7 p.m.

To take part in the festivities coordinators say string lights on your car, float or whatever you plan to enter and show up Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in the 100 block of East Cash.

There's no registration fee to enter but coordinators say donations are certainly welcomed.

And they ask that parade entrants do not dress up as Santa or throw candy during the parade.
