A Wichita Falls teen is behind bars tonight, accused of threatening a taxi driver with a handgun, in an attempt to steal money.

19-year-old Demarcus Aaron Carson is charged with aggravated robbery. Police say on November 15th, a Wichita Star Taxi driver reported a man was riding in his taxi and changed his destination several times, eventually telling the driver to drop him off in the 400-block of California.

When the driver stopped, police say the man displayed a black handgun, charged the chamber, and threatened the driver.

The driver says he took off, and the suspect, later identified as Carson, fell out of the vehicle's open door. Carson is being held in the Wichita County jail on a 750-thousand-dollar bond.
