Probation for a man originally charged with murder in connection with a 2007  drive by shooting is today revoked.
Quincy Buckner and Randy Skyler were charged with murder in the July 2007 shooting  death of  Christian Gallegos on Lansing street.
Skyler received a 20 year sentence.
Buckner's charge was later changed to deadly conduct and he received 10 years probation.
Prosecutors this year filed to have his probation revoked after Buckner was allegedly involved in an assault, was delinquent on his community supervision fees and  was driving without a valid license.
He has been held in the Wichita County Jail since July.
In today's revocation hearing Buckner's attorney argued that Buckner was acting in self defense in the assault.
The prosecution argued that Buckner was placed on probation for a violent crime and he violated that probation in the assault.
The judge ordered Buckner to the Intermediate Correctional Facility where he will stay a minimum 5 days and  maximum of 120.
The staff at the facility will determine when Bucker should be released.
After that, he goes back on probation.
