Midwestern State's offense was in the flow while the defense made a routin out of flipping turnovers into points Wednesday night as the Mustangs rolled past West Texas A&M 74-55 in its Lone Star Conference home opener at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
The Mustangs improved to 6-1 on the season and to 2-1 in league plays. They enjoy a 10-day break before hosting Texas-Permian Basin on Sat., Dec. 15.
It was MSU's third consecutive win over the Lady Buffs under the dome.
Sophomore forward Skyler Warrick erupted out of a scoring slump to lead the Mustangs with 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting.
