Morningside Luminarias to Glow This Weekend

A Wichita Falls neighborhood will get into the spirit of holiday by illuminating with a luminaria display.

Since the mid-1970's the Morningside Neighborhood Association has hosted its luminaria display.

It consists of hundreds of paper sacks filled with sand that glow from a lit candle inside.

And you can see that stunning display this weekend.

The luminaria display will shine bright Saturday and Sunday night from around 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

To check it out just head to the neighborhood, which starts off 9th and Grant Streets in Wichita Falls and follow the signs.
