Jayson Lavender resigns as WFHS Football coach and athletic coordinator

Head coach Jayson Lavender resigned today from his position as head football coach at Wichita Falls High School.  Lavender will serve out his contract through June.  He informed his players at three o clock this afternoon. The search for a new head coach and athletic coordinator will begin after the new year.  The coyotes finished with a 3-and-7 record this season, and were shut out in their last two games.
