NFL Linebacker Junior Seau Suffered from Condition Caused by Head Injuries

During his playing days for the NFL, Junior Seau was considered one of the best linebackers. But scientists now say that all those defense hits to his head while he made tackles led to degenerative brain disease known as CTA. 

And they say the condition is more than likely the reason he ended his own life last May. Seau's family donated his brain to the National Institutes of Health in the hopes of finding out why he committed suicide.
