A security employee charged last September with stealing from money bags he was picking up from a local business makes a plea and gets probation.
Police say 32-year-old Lonnie Allen Adams worked for Trinity Armored Security.
They say he picked up 11 deposit bags from two local businesses and that the money was never deposited.
Investigators say the bags contained more than $11-thousand in cash.
Today he pleaded guilty in 89th District Court and was sentenced to five years deferred adjudication.
He will also pay restitution for the amount stolen.
