Wichita County Sheriff David Duke says investigators are solving multiple car break-ins, burglaries, and thefts thanks to yesterday's bust of a multiple person burglary and drug ring.
There were 10 total arrests, and those include: Megan Nicholson, John Crowe, Jason Martin, Jimmy griffin, Jason Shelton, Christina Foshee, Lindsey Cook, Jay Miller, Juanita Springmeyer, and Mark Brock.
Some of the charges include engaging in organized criminal activity for theft, manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Duke says his team along with city investigators are working to obtain all the property they say the group stole.
"We're working hand-in-hand with them and our guys were fortunate enough to catch the guys in the stolen truck last night that was stolen from the Country Club addition," he says.
Yesterday's investigation started with a car chase in the early morning hours.
It spanned at least 12 hours after that, taking investigators first to a home in the 13-hundred block of Burnett, then to the Circle Inn Motel off Seymour Highway, where authorities had to chase down one of the suspects, and finally to the Econo Lodge off Seymour Highway.
District attorney drug enforcement investigators and deputies say they found meth, stolen property, and a gun during the course of their search.
They say they've been able to trace some of the property to a home in the 49-hundred block of Big Bend Dr., a home in Tanglewood, a home near Emerson and Rivercrest, and a home in the 42-hundred block of Briar Cliff Dr.
