Wichita County Burn Ban Lifted

By: KFDX News
Updated: January 14, 2013
The burn ban, put into place in Wichita County on December 3rd, is now lifted.

Emergency Management Coordinator Lee Bourgoin says he and area fire chiefs made the recommendation to commissioners. He says it's so that people can get things accomplished they've been putting off like burning brush or trash.

Bourgoin expects the ban will be put back into place soon if we don't see more precipitation.
