A Harvard professor is seeking an "adventurous" woman to give birth to a Neanderthal baby.

Harvard Professor George Church believes enough DNA can be extracted from fossils to achieve cloning. The cells would initially be grown in a lab, then theoretically implanted into a female for gestation.

The challenge: finding a woman who is willing to give birth to the clone.

"I don't know. I'm in support of the science if she's willing to do it," one woman said. "I would not be that adventurous of a female, no."

Professor Church is a leading geneticist at the Harvard Medical School. He is also credited with helping initiate the Human Genome Project.
