A Dallas Cowboys football player is arrested after a traffic crash with an 18-wheeler.

Police say Jay Ratliff collided with a semi in the city of Grapevine and then later refused a sobriety test at the scene.

He was arrested and taken to a hospital where police obtained a search warrant to have his blood drawn. The results are still pending.
Ratliff's bond was set at 500 dollars. He posted it Tuesday morning. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured. The Dallas Cowboys have not commented on Ratliff's arrest.
