911 tapes reveal the shocking moments after an Omaha, Nebraska girl watched men break into her home. The 17-year-old girl was home alone when two men broke through the front door window and came inside. She hid in the closet. But the terrifying experience can also serve as a lesson and a chance to talk to you kids about being home alone.

"Someone just broke into my house," the girl said to a 911 operator.

"I just turned my head to look through the doorway and I saw someone looking in," said the girl.

She didn't know the person at the door so she didn't answer. Instead she called her mother, who didn't answer. Then she heard the sound of glass falling and ran to hide in her closet.

"I came in between the clothes and this is where I called 911," said the girl.

She stayed on the line for awhile but wasn't able to talk because the robber was in her bedroom.

"I was trying to be as quiet as I could. I wasn't sure I was going to make it to be honest," said the girl.
