Daredevil and tightrope walker Nik Wallenda makes another successful stroll high above the ground.
He had no safety harness, no safety net, but had an enormous amount of self-confidence and courage.
Wallenda wowed onlookers this morning by walking across a high wire 200 feet up and over a busy highway in his hometown of Sarasota, Florida.
Battling a steady wind, it took Wallenda about 15 minutes to make the trek from Bayfront Park to the Marina Tower Condominium.
"It was probably still 12 feet higher than this side and I very much dislike walking down hill. It's just like walking upstairs, if you're gonna trip going upstairs the stairs are there. If you're gonna trip downstairs they're a lot further away. But in the end all's well that ends well and here I am," Wallenda said.
This morning's walk launched Wallenda's three-week run as a performer at Circus Sarasota.
