Wichita West Volunteer Fire Department needs extra "hands" to help battle fires.
This year, we've been lucky and haven't seen too many wildfires break out.
But as another wildfire season draws near, Wichita West wants to be ready.
Chief Adam Brinkman says there is room for 30 volunteer firefighters and he's hoping at least 13 men and women sign up.
You must be at least 19-years-old, have a high school diploma and valid driver's license, and reside in Wichita County.
If you're interested, call the fire station at 692-1981 and leave a message with your name and number.
