Crews Prepared For Storm

TxDot officials say many roads have closed.
DPS Troopers are blocking all traffic north bound on US 287 between Childress, Memphis and Claude.
Roads northwest of Vernon are said to be "impassable."
TxDot officials say the weather is something they prepared for.
"We put up our freeze guard trucks and put the plows on the dump trucks this weekend. So all areas are ready for this," said TxDot Public Information Officer, Adele Lewis.
Officials say they are most concerned about the ice.
They say when temperatures drop today's rain will freeze and that ice they will be unable to plow.
