Texoma Man in Court Thursday for Allegedly Assaulting Mom and Grandma

A Texoma man charged after allegedly assaulting his mother and grandmother is set to be in court today. Dakota Prouty is charged with aggravated assault family violence, assault family violence, and injury to an elderly.

His bonds total $60,000. Police say the incident for which he's charged happened in late September. Officers say Prouty grabbed his mother and shoved her down, then pushed his grandmother to the ground. They say he returned with a knife, which he then held to his grandmother's throat.
