Texas Man Indicted for Threatening to Shoot President Obama

By: Larry Statser
Updated: March 12, 2013

A Texas man arrested in Lawton has been indicted by a federal grand jury in El Paso for threatening to shoot President Barack Obama.

20-year-old William Mose Tucker is jailed without bond. His attorney is seeking bond to be set, saying his client is not dangerous and owns no guns. Tucker's first court hearing is set for March 28th.

Court documents say Tucker told someone last September he planned to shoot President Obama. Authorities say they arrested Tucker at a Lawton motel the day before the presidential inauguration.
