Montague County Jail Nurse Arrested

The nurse for the Montague County jail is charged with fraternizing with an inmate.

Twenty-five year old Kendra Reid was booked in the Montague County Jail for for bringing prohibited substances into a correctional facility.

According to Sheriff Paul Cunningham, Reid was a nurse at the jail and was employed with Southern Health Partners Cooperated.

He requested the district attorneys office and the Texas Rangers investigate after he learned the nurse had improper contact with an inmate and possibly passed tobacco to the inmate.

Tonight Reid remains in jail on a $7,500 bond.
