It's the first weekend of the year with temperatures above the 80's across Texoma and
that had folks out and about basking in today's blissful weather.

Blue skies without a cloud in sight.

And with a light breeze it made for the perfect day to be out in the sun.

One group took advantage of the pleasant temperatures during their hunters education course at the Northwest Texas Field and Stream

"Don't really need jackets out here just had it on, and it's just a great day out here in Wichita Falls to have something like this to do," said David Smith, who was taking the course.

Nearby a fisherman set up post hoping to cast out his troubles while reeling in big under the sun.

"Just relief some stress, take everything, mind clear, clear the mind," said Jason Shroeder.

And at Lake Wichita Park exercise was key to enjoy the 80 degree temps. for not only runners but for folk's furry friends too.

Dogs wrestled together and even let the youngster in on the fun.

"The dogs are loving it, they're playing, and my son is out here enjoying it so you can't beat it," said Sean Stavely.

Can't beat a day outdoors under sunny skies.
