NO INDICTMENT FOR BONDS TODAY

It appears Barry Bonds won`t face the music after all, at least not for now. Prosecutors say the Giants slugger won`t be indicted today, but say the ongoing federal investigation of steroids and possible perjury and tax-evasion charges will continue. All week, Bonds` lawyers were preparing a defense for his expected indictment. Instead, the grand jury wrapped up today with no action against Bonds.
