Melissa Foy

Updated: April 7, 2013
Melissa Foy joined the KFDX 3 News Team as a reporter in March 2011 after interning during summer 2010.  She took over as weekend anchor in March 2013 and still reports during the week.  She grew up in Colleyville, TX, and is proud to call Texas her home.

Melissa is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, from which she received a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism and minor in Spanish.  While in college, she worked for the OU student-produced newscast "OU Nightly" as the senior producer, reporter, and anchor.  She also worked as the senior producer and reporter for "OUr Sports Pad", a 30-minute live weekly sports talk show.

While at OU, she joined Pi Beta Phi sorority, an organization that is still very important to her.  Even though she loved her time as a Sooner, Melissa is very excited to be back in Texas, and especially glad to be back in Wichita Falls and closer to her family.  Melissa has four siblings, including a triplet brother and sister who also attended OU.

Melissa loves meeting new people, especially the friendly people of Texoma, so if you see her around, stop and say hi!  If you have a story idea, or just want to talk about OU football, e-mail her at mfoy@kfdx.com.
