Greg Parker

By: KFDX 3 News
Updated: October 10, 2012
Greg Parker joined the KFDX News Team as a Morning Co-Anchor and Noon Anchor/Producer in June 2011. Born and raised in Southern Indiana, Greg has been involved in Broadcast Media for more than a decade.

In 2001, Greg was a member of a media team that received international recognition for a short-film his team wrote and produced. Later in 2003, he won the Hollywood Student Film Competition for a documentary in which he hosted and narrated.

Greg Parker graduated with a degree in Telecommunications from Indiana University in 2009 and has since worked as a News Anchor/Reporter, Segment Producer, and Schedule Director for WTIU-TV 30 in Bloomington, IN. While there, Greg produced, anchored, and reported on a wide variety of stories.

Aside from News Broadcasting, Greg loves horseback riding and Indiana Basketball. As a youth, he spent many hours dreaming of playing for the Indiana Hoosiers while he shot hoops on the basketball goal nailed to the barn on the family farm. Now as an adult, Greg loves to spend time playing guitar and giving guitar lessons, being with great friends and family, and riding his favorite, yet stubborn, appaloosa-horse, "Smokin' Jack."

Greg Parker is extremely excited to be in Wichita Falls and is blown away by the generosity and hospitality of the wonderful people in the KFDX family as well as the Texoma community. If you see him around the area, don't forget to say hello!
