UPDATED: 5.6 Quake Strongest in OK History

The United States Geological Survey has confirmed another strong quake has hit just east of Oklahoma City.  This is the second quake in less than 24-hours.  And, geologists now believe this is the strongest temblor in the history of the state of Oklahoma.

Initially the quake was measured as a 5.2 but has been upgraded to a 5.6 magnitude quake.


The quake has been reported to have been felt in:
  • Texas
  • Oklahoma
  • Kansas
  • Missouri
  • Illinois
  • Iowa
  • Arkansas
  • Nebraska
