More Customers Looking Into Earthquake Insurance

Weekend earthquakes certainly shook things up for some Texoma residents, especially those in Oklahoma.
Many insurance agents say now those residents are looking to update their current policies.
More than one-dozen damage reports were made.
Here's video of Saint Gregory's University, which canceled classes Monday because of damage to the campus.
Most agents we spoke with say damage caused by earthquakes normally isn't covered under a regular homeowners policy; it's a separate endorsement.
Those we spoke with say most of their customers don't have it, but because of the weekend tremors, more and more people are looking to add that endorsement to their current policy.
Mindy Pritchard with Farmer's Insurance in Lawton says, "We've had probably about 20 to 25 calls starting on Monday.  Of those calls, I would say about 20 percent of them added it."
Insurance agents say in most cases, cracks will not be covered because it's tough to prove that the cracks were caused by the shaking and not the dry, cracking soil.
