Sgt. Joe Snyder said officers worked through the night on the case, gathering evidence and talking to witnesses.

Shortly after 5pm, Sgt. Joe Snyder with the WFPD said police arrested one of the suspects involved in the shooting, but police still need the community's help, however, to bring the second suspect to justice.

Police said at 3:49 on Monday afternoon, two men entered Mo's Grocery in the 3600 blk. of Iowa Park Road.

One of the men, seen in surveillance video, points a gun at the store's owner, Muhammad Ahmad, and shoots him in the chest.

Ahmad died in surgery at United Regional a short time later.

By all accounts, Muhammad Ahmad, was a friend to the community. He would joke with his customers, and even lend money to those in need.

Now, in the wake of this heinous act, those friends are forced to say goodbye to the man they called "Mo".

"He had a thing about him, maybe it's just because he had hardship or something," said Wesley Mills who was a friend and customer of Mr. Ahmad.

"We were accustomed to each other," Mills continued, "you know, he'd say 'hey, take this to your puppies, take this to your wife'."

Wichita Falls Police describe the first suspect, who shot Ahmad, as a black male, 18 to 20 years old, 5'10'' with a thin build.
He was wearing a grey or light blue wind breaker, gray sweat pants, a green and white baseball cap and a blue bandana around his neck.

The second suspect is also a black male, 18-20 years old, 5'10'', and 140 pounds.
He was wearing a grey or blue sweatshirt or hooded sweatshirt and a green knit stocking cap.

Police are asking anyone with information, to please come forward.

"Nobody deserves to die like Mr. Ahmad did," said Sgt. Joe Snyder with WFPD, "and if we can find that one small piece of the puzzle, even if you think it's not important, it could be very important. So we encourage people to call detectives, or call Crime Stoppers where you won't have to give your name and you could earn a sizeable cash reward."

While police continue to search for the second suspect, Mo's friends continue to mourn.

"Mo, he was a wonderful guy," said Mills, "he was a wonderful guy."

Muhammad Ahmad was 66-years-old.

He and his wife lived in Archer County, where neighbors said he was a kind man who was always friendly.

If you have any information that can help police in this investigation, you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at 322-9888.
