A 24-year-old woman charged with robbery after she bit a Walmart employee who tried to stop her from stealing some items receives her punishment in 89th District Court today.
Christina Quinones pleaded guilty to that robbery charge, and will serve five years in prison.
Police say in Sept. 2010, Quinones tried to walk out of the Walmart on Lawrence Rd. with a purse full of items, which included digital video recorders, jeans, and undergarments, worth around $200.
Investigators say as Quinones tried to exit the store, an employee asked her to stop, there was a struggle, and she bit him on his elbow.
