The Stephens County District Attorney's Office is not expected to file murder charges against the man accused of killing a 16 year-old high school student until Monday, but we have found new information about this senseless killing, and the man who is in jail for her death.

21 year-old convenience store clerk, Miles Sterling Bench of Davis, Oklahoma was arrested for the murder of Braylee Rae Henry.

Braylee was reported missing Wednesday night after being seen at the Tee Pee Totem convenience store in Velma, east of Duncan.  Her mother says she went there to get a Coke.

Police found blood in a storeroom, and later found her body in an oil field east of the store.  They tracked her car using Onstar, and authorities in Custer County arrested Bench in the car.

And today, we found Bench has a record of minor crimes in Illinois.  A Will County Sheriff's official in Joliet tells us Bench was arrested there in July 2008 for domestic battery of his stepfather.  In January 2011, he was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle.  He also had an AWOL charge from Great Lake Naval Base at that time.  But we could not find a record of any convictions in Oklahoma.

At last report, Bench was being held in Stephens County Jail, however no one in the Sheriff's Office or jail would tell us today what his charge or bond is.  The D.A.'s Office says they are waiting on paperwork, and plan to file charges Monday.

Funeral services for Braylee are pending.
