Burkburnett Identify 82 year-old Man Killed in Accident

Burkburnett police have now identified the 82 year-old man who died after crashing into a concrete culvert yesterday afternoon.

Police say Irineo Tambunga of Wichita Falls was driving a white Pontiac when a witness says they saw Tambunga swerving down the highway.

They say he continued driving and swerved off the road again this time crashing into the culvert by the Glendale exit in Burkburnett.

Police say Tambunga's air bag did not go off during the accident's impact and his seat belt was not on.

Tambunga's body has been sent to Tarrant County for an autopsy.
