Police Say Man Beat Victim with Tire Iron

An Electra man is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after police say he beat a man with a tire iron.
An arrest affidavit states 28-year-old Zachary Louis Green was mad at another man and said he owed him $30.
Green reportedly asked the man to meet up with him.
The affidavit states the two began to argue about the money and Green struck the victim with a tire iron.
Another person broke up the assault, but officers say Green returned and continued to assault the victim, until another person broke up that fight.
Green is in the Wichita County Jail on a $25-thousand bond.
