You can help pull funds for area Special Olympians this weekend.
But take note.
You've got to be tough!
Special Olympics Texas is holding its first Fire Truck Pull, like this one here in Round Rock, Texas.
Just put together a team of 10 to 12 people then make your biceps burn as you work to be the fastest to pull an actual fire truck up to 50 feet.
Your hard work will allow area special Olympians to play several new sports.
"This year we're adding flag football. Possibly roller skating . Next year we're looking to add tennis and just to continue some of the other programs we have as well.. just continue to grow our program," says Mike Strickland, area director for Special Olympics Texas in the Wichita Falls area.
The Fire Truck Pull is Saturday, September 22nd at 11 A.M. at Midwestern State University.
Registration is $200 per team and can be done online by clicking here.
