A former Wichita Falls business owner charged with hiring a hit man to murder his wife's boyfriend is back in jail as he awaits trial. Former owner of Metro Photo, 46 Year old David Everett Stevens was booked into Wichita County Jail shortly before 10 Tuesday morning on a new charge of violating terms of his bond. Authorities allege he contacted a witness in the case. He had been free on a 2.5 million dollar bond on the solicitation to commit murder charge. Stevens was arrested in 2010 after police were tipped off by an informant, and arranged to tape his offer at a truck stop to pay around $2,000 to the man to kill his wife's boyfriend. The alleged contact with the witness occurred August 28th. Steven's trial is set for October first and a pretrial is set for this Friday. It's not known if the new charge will impact that trial date.
