You might not think Terral, Oklahoma is a mecca for fun, but one farm may have you putting your car in full gear to get there.
So what's the secret?
It's called Happy Day Farms.
A couple built the place just about a year ago hoping to give children a place where they could learn and play on a real country farm, but what they got was so much more.
It's a quiet day at happy day farm.
Swings blow softly in the breeze.
The 2 story tree house without a single child screaming of joy.
Go carts sit parked, ready to be ridden.
It's not often Cindy and Frank day see their farm this peaceful.
A farm which they built after just one hay ride.
"I taught school in fort worth for a number of years, we took our kids to the pumpkin patch every year, and I remember on the hay ride 4 years ago I remember thinking oh my goodness franks land is so much prettier and I thought we could do this," said Cindy Day.
And since then they've never looked back.
With a petting zoo, water pump, and a lesson Cindy teaches herself on the life cycle of pumpkins kids don't just get to play but have an educational hands on experience.
"They are learning, they're learning, it's a very learning experience for them and we are excited to see them learn," she said.
Excited and surprised by it.
"It wasn't a goal but it turned out to be a goal, it turned that that's where the joy is,'" said Frank Day.
And though the farm started out as a place to bring happiness to others they found something in return.
"Sometimes when you hug somebody a hug that needs a hug you get more out of it then they do, so that's kinda like what we feel we are doing here," he said.
Frank and Cindy still have plans to add to their farm.
They want to add more science things like geocaching..
