According to officials with the Brazos River Authority, 17 year old Jacob Logan from Coppell was cliff diving on private property with some friends Sunday near the Bluff Creek marina when he went missing. Crews were alerted to the situation shortly after 2:00pm. Divers had been searching the area, but were forced to call off their efforts because of darkness. They continued their search Monday morning at first light. Officials say Logan was not wearing a vest. According to the harbor master, cliff diving is illegal at Possum Kingdom Lake, and also stated that at least 10 people have died over the years.
