Police Say Robber Choked Hobby Lobby Employee

A Wichita Falls woman is behind bars tonight after authorities say she choked a store employee trying to detain her after she was caught stealing from the store.
Forty-one year-old Carmen Deann Ozuna is charged with robbery.
The arrest affidavit states employees saw Ozuna switching price tags on items in the Hobby Lobby store in the 28-hundred block of Southwest Parkway.
Officers say Ozuna paid for some items, then tried to make her way out to the parking lot.
A Hobby Lobby employee tried to detain Ozuna for questioning, but says Ozuna grabbed her by the throat.
After further investigation, officers say they discovered Ozuna had stolen other items from the store, and hid them in her purse.
She's being held in the Wichita County Jail on $40-thousand in bonds.
