The man charged with helping his son cover up the murder of Danielle Hill-Alvarado went before a Wichita County Judge this afternoon to have his bond set.

Robert Alvarado is charged with tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.  His bond was set at $250,000.  He was arrested in Abilene last week after police found the buried body of his 27 year-old daughter-in-law, Danielle Alvarado, at Burnett Park off FM 368.  Police say he admitted helping his son, Jonathan, remove and bury the body in January 2010.

According to investigators, Alvarado told them his son stabbed Danielle multiple times inside their home in the 17-hundred block of Polk Street.

Jonathan Alvarado took his own life in September 2011.
