If you're on Facebook, there's a good chance your newsfeed is flooded with political posts from friends.

Political propaganda has made its way onto our Facebook pages whether we like it or not.

As a journalist, I have to remain neutral on many topics, including this one.

However, a lot of people I talked to don't and they have a lot to say about using Facebook as a political forum.

So I wanted to know what all of you think.

I went in search of some public opinion.

First question I asked: Do Facebook and politics mix?

Wendy Kapas says, "No. I don't believe they mix at all. You need to keep your personal opinions to yourself."

But, Zantra Townsend disagrees.

"Yes, because it gets the message out there. It lets them know they need to vote because that's really important," Townsend says.

Second Question: What does your Facebook look like just days before the election.

Kapas says, "It's full of people's opinions about each candidate and I'm getting tired of looking at it over and over again."

Townsend says, "Everyday it's something else. There's political cartoons and jokes and some of it really great and some of it is really funny and some of it you just kind of want to take some people off your Facebook page.

Third Question: Have you done anything about it?

John Catron says, "I choose to ignore it. People are going to have their opinions matter what you do. If they are going to make silly statements, get bent out of shape over silly things, there is no sense in commenting on it. You can't stop it."

Taylor Humprey says, "I just look at and I stare at it and I just keep scrolling. I mean, you have your political views and your own opinions but don't always talk about it all the time because it just gets annoying and stupid and boring."

Townsend says, "I just kind of keep my opinion to myself but I do kind of like to watch everyone go at it on Facebook with their argument and big debates and this and that. I like to know who everyone is voting for."

Last question: Are you ready for the election to be over?

Kapas says, "Absolutely, ready for it to be over."

Catron says, "Very much so. I'll be glad when it's over and the votes are counted.

Townsend says, "Absolutely, I can't wait for this election to be over. I voted and it's done and I would like for everyone else to be done too.

I want to know what you think about this topic.

Head over to my Facebook page or Texomashomepage's Facebook page and join the conversation.

We'd love to hear what you think.
