A Wichita Falls man is on a mission to give back with each step he takes.

Alan Brock, the founder of a faith and fitness ministry called "Fit 2 Endure" turned his run along the "Wee Chi Tah" trail today into an exercise to help others.

In just eight hours Brock covered 31 miles on the trail.

His all-day trek is to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Sandy who's lives have been ravaged by the monster storm.

"They are in a situation where the magnitude is overwhelming. They have lost everything, and i think we should give because frankly it's mandated," said Brock.

This isn't the first time he's laced up his running shoes for a cause.

Last year he ran 17 straight hours in Austin to help Hurricane Irene victims.

If you'd like to help Brock and donate to his cause you can do so by going to his facebook page here. https://www.facebook.com/Fit2Endure
