The memory of a Burkburnett woman is inspiring others in that community to raise money for the American Diabetes Association.

A steady stream of people came through Permian Park today in Burkburnett

This is the second year friends and family of Tiffany Stubblefield have gathered in the park to honor her memory and help raise awareness about the dangers of diabetes.

Tiffany was diagnosed with type 1 juvenile diabetes when she was 16 and passed away in 2007.

Today folks sold baked goods hand made wreaths and floral arrangements.

All the money raised will go directly to the American Diabetes Association to help find a cure for the disease.

"That's what it's all about peace, love, and cure, we want to find a cure for diabetes<' said Cathy Stubblefield, Tiffany's mother.

A Men's Ministry cooking team from the First Baptist Church also came out to show their support providing hot dogs, chips and drinks for donations to the cause.
