Old Phone Book Recycling Underway

Now that the October 2012-2013 telephone books are out Wichita Falls citizens are being reminded to recycle their old phone books.
A bin just for phone books is set up outside the Wichita Falls Sanitation Department on Sunset near the entrance to Lucy Park.
The city will take the books, shred them and use them to make compost.
If you can't make it to the sanitation department to dispose of your old phone books you can also place put them in green curbside carts that are used for weekly organics recycling.
