The investigation into the death of Danielle Hill Alvarado is now officially closed by police. Police say they believe the suspect in her death to be dead.

Danielle Hill Alvarado went missing in January 2010.  Sgt. John Spragins with the Wichita Falls Police Department says detectives working the case believe she was killed by her husband, Jonathan Alvarado. He killed himself in September 2011.

Danielle's body was found buried at Burnett Park on October 19th after an anonymous tip. Robert Alvarado, Danielle's father- in- law, was arrested two weeks ago. He is charged with tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.

Arrest records show he told police Jonathan stabbed Danielle and the two of them buried the body. Two days later, the case against Robert Alvarado remains open.
